A Study of AAV2-GDNF in Adults with Moderate Parkinsons Disease (REGENERATE-PD)

All genders
Phase 2
The study is designed to evaluate the efficacy and safety of intraputaminal delivery of AAV2-GDNF gene therapy in subjects with moderate Parkinson's disease and demonstrate proof-of-concept. Subjects will be randomized to 1 of 2 treatment arms, AAV2-GDNF surgery or control surgery and will undergo screening, two baseline visits, perioperative procedures, and double-blind follow-up. Procedures include biological fluid sampling; MRI, CT, PET imaging, clinical assessments; and activity monitoring.

Parkinsons Foundation PD GENEration Genetic Registry

18-99 years
All genders
Observational
This study aims to collect and share Parkinson’s disease genetic testing data from up to 500,000 study participants for research use. Participants will include people with Parkinson's disease (PD). To investigate the genetic link to PD, we will ask participants to contribute their genetic test results and associated raw data and we will bank residual DNA for future research use. This study is being done to help improve our understanding of PD and help participants and their clinicians understand their genetic status to improve care, which includes determining eligibility for clinical trial participation. The research study is being conducted to collect and share Parkinson’s disease genetic testing data for research purposes. If you agree to join the study, you will be asked to complete the following research procedures: contribute a cheek swab or blood sample for genetic testing, answer information about your health, and meet with a genetic counselor for genetic testing results disclosure and genetic counseling. Participants in the study will complete two research visits, which will take about two hours total: the initial study visit for biological sample and clinical data collection, and the genetic counseling visit.

The OHART Study

18-99 years
All genders
The purpose of this study is to investigate different oral and systemic problems including dental carries, periodontal disease, dry mouth, high cholesterol, diabetes, heart disease, and osteoporosis, observed in patients living with HIV on antiretroviral therapy.

LEADS

All genders
This research study is being done to learn about certain characteristics of the skin and how these characteristics are related to the severity of atopic dermatitis (AD) and the skins response to treatment. Subjects 18 and older diagnosed with AD and Non Ad subjects.Procedures include vital signs, pregnancy status (if applicable), and any updates regarding medical history and current medications or therapies. Collection of blood, skin swabs, skin tape strips, and/or skin biopsies

HPTN 102: LEN in Women (HIV Prevention Medication)

Female
Phase 2
This is a Phase 2, open-label, multicenter, randomized study to evaluate the PK, safety, and acceptability of LEN subcutaneous (SC) injection compared with oral F/TDF in cisgender women who would benefit from PrEP. This study has 2 parts. Randomized Phase: ppts will be randomized in a 1:1 ratio to receive 52 wks of LEN or F/TDF, followed by up to 78 wks of F/TDF for both study drug groups in the PK Tail Phase. Participants in the LEN group will transition to F/TDF for the PK Tail Phase.
