Improving Sleep in the Neurology In-Patient Population

Brief description of study

The research is being conducted to improve sleep in the inpatient neurology population by decreasing overnight interruptions and addressing environmental barriers to sleep in the hospital. If you agree to join this study, you will be asked to complete the following research procedures: wear an activity and sleep monitor (FitBit), wear a skin patch for vital sign monitor, complete questionnaires about quality of sleep while hospitalized, and utilize a menu of options available to improve sleep. Your active participation will last for the duration of your hospitalization or 10-nights, whichever comes first. At 30-days post-hospitalization, the study team will check your medical record to check whether or not you have revisited the hospital.

  • Age: Between 18 Years - 99 Years
