Kidney Transplantation in Recipients and Donors with HIV: Long Term Follow up Study

Brief description of study

The purpose of this study is to study how well patients that receive a kidney from an HIV+ organ donor do over 10 years compared to patients that receive a kidney from an HIV- donor. People 18 years of age and older with end-stage renal disease and HIV, and who are in evaluation for or are waitlisted for kidney transplant may join. -Or- People 18 years of age and older with HIV who have received a kidney–only transplant under a previous HOPE Act protocol may join.

  • Age: Between 18 Years - 99 Years
