ALAMO: AlloSure Lung Assessment and Metagenomics Outcomes study

Brief description of study

The research study is being conducted to help clinicians monitor lung transplant patients to examine the risk for allograft rejection and/or infection. The registry will collect medical information and history related to your lung transplant care (medications, diagnoses, and other information in your medical record), storing that information in a database, and using that information to answer specific research questions now and in the future. If you agree to join the study, you will be asked to you will be asked to provide blood specimens for AlloSure Lung, AlloMap Lung, AlloHeme Lung and AlloID monthly for up to 13 regular clinic visits in your first year post-transplant, and quarterly for 4 regular visits in years 2 and 3 post-transplant. These samples are drawn at visits that you will have for your regular care when possible. Your participation will last for up to 3 years following the date of your lung transplant.
