Diet Interventions in Psoriatic Arthritis

Brief description of study

In this randomized controlled pilot trial, we will test whether a Mediterranean diet (focused on healthy food intake) or a low calorie/low fat (LC/LF) diet (aiming for weight reduction) improves disease outcomes compared to no dietary intervention among patients with PsA.

Eligibility of study

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

  • Conditions:
    Psoriatic Arthritis
  • Age: Between 18 Years - 99 Years
  • Gender: All

Male or female Age 18-80 Rheumatologist-confirmed diagnosis of PsA fulfilling Classification of Psoriatic Arthritis Criteria (CASPAR) Willing to alter diet and participate for 24 weeks Owns and uses an iPhone or Android smart phone, or is willing to use a device provided by the study team
