A study assessing the efficacy and feasibility of virtual cardiac rehabilitation with remotely monitored exercise (VCR)

Brief description of study

This will be an observational study to investigate the feasibility and efficacy of a home-based, tech enabled, remotely supervised, cardiac rehabilitation (CR) program in qualifying American adults who cannot participate in traditional center based rehab.

This study aims to investigate the feasibility and effectiveness of Carda Healths remotely administered cardiac rehab program as an alternative for CR eligible patients. In general, participation rates in traditional center based CR are very low.

Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, many CR facilities have limited capacity and patients are unable or unwilling to attend center based programs., This virtual program would provide eligible patients with a viable alternative in the case they are not able to attend center based CR.

The study will recruit patients who qualify for cardiac rehabilitation.
