Cancer Pain Self-Management Study
Brief description of study
You are being asked to take part in a research study about medications used for cancer pain. This research is not a form of treatment or therapy. It is not supposed to detect a disease or find something wrong. This research involves completion of surveys and using a special pill bottle.
We want to study people who are taking pain medications, called opioids, to treat cancer related pain. We are interested in learning about how people manage their pain and how this relates to physical health, sleep, quality of life, and use of health care.

Detailed description of study
You are being asked to join this study because you have experienced cancer-related pain, have been prescribed opioid pain relievers, and is receiving care at one of the following cancer centers:
(1) The Abramson Cancer Center of University of Pennsylvania
(2) Pennsylvania Hospital
(3) Penn Presbyterian Medical Center.
Eligibility of study
You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:
