Study Overview

The purpose of this study is to learn whether listening to music at bedtime helps older adults with memory problems and their families deal with symptoms of sleep disruption. Symptoms of sleep disruption are common in persons with memory problems and may be troublesome for you and your family. 

Study Description

How long will I be in the study?
The study will take place over a period of 1 month (4 weeks). This means for the next 1 month we will ask you to spend 30 minutes a day participating in this study by listening to music. Each session will last approximately 30 minutes.

Where will the study take place?
The study will take place in your home.

Additional Information:

Will I be paid for being in this study?
You and your family member will receive two $50 Greenphire ClinCards ($100 total)
after you complete the study. ClinCard is a reloadable prepaid card, part of a debit card
system. Should you change your mind and want to stop before the end of the study, you
will not receive the clincards.
