Evaluation of a Mobile Robot Platform for TeleRehabilitation: Aim 6

Brief description of study

In order to help improve accessibility to rehabilitation, we are evaluating 1) social robots with telepresence for upper extremity rehab and 2) computer vision for assessment of upper extremity function. Participating subjects will complete a series of standard clinical assessments testing upper limb and cognitive function. They will then do a Simon says and target touch activity in 3 conditions 1) in-person 2) via telepresence and 3) via telepresence with a social robot. Surveys will be used to evaluate the interactions. Interactions will be video taped to help develop an automated assessment pipeline.
