Predictors of response to IMPaCT intervention

Predictors of response to IMPaCT intervention

Brief description of study

The IMPaCT community health worker intervention is effective at improving cardiovascular risk factors and is being disseminated more widely. Although overall effective, over 30% of patients did not improve control of their selected cardiovascular risk factor despite a 6 month dose of IMPaCT. One key question is: Are there characteristics particularly around reactions to failure- that predict response to the IMPaCT intervention? These predictors could be used to target non-responders for tailored approaches. In this study we will invite individuals who previously participated in the IMPaCT program to conduct a comprehensive behavioral assessment in order to identify factors that may be associated with IMPaCT response.
