Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement to UNload the Left ventricle in patients with ADvanced heart failure
Brief description of study
Randomized (flip of the coin 50/50) study of heart failure (HF) patients with moderate aortic valve stenosis (narrowing) will be either treated with a transcatheter valve replacement (TAVR) or continue with medical management. Subjects will be followed for 2 years. We will collect information regarding death and major events such as stroke and also ask you about your quality of life and functional status.
