PTSD Study -- Neuroimaging and Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS)
Brief description of study
We are recruiting individuals who have experienced a life-threatening event for a research study focused on the neuroscience behind depression and post-traumatic stress. Our study uses a mechanism called transcranial magnetic stimulation, or TMS, which is an FDA-approved treatment method for major depression. We are hoping to improve targeting methods for TMS, as well as track its impact on brain activity, through the combined use of neuroimaging (MRI) techniques.
