Investigating the Impact of Childhood Adversity on Brain Activity in Post-Menopausal Women

Brief description of study

The aim of this study is to further our understanding of the impact of prepubertal adverse childhood experiences on brain activation during performance of affective and cognitive processing and memory tasks in men post-menopausal women between the ages of 48 and 65. Using functional brain imaging, we will identify differences in brain activation during memory and attention tasks in order to further understand the impact of early life stress on cognition.
