Cigar Packaging Study

You will be asked to attend a total of six sessions. During two sessions at our Center, you will answer questionnaires, provide a small urine sample and smoke a cigarillo in one of our Center’s well-ventilated smoking rooms. During four remote sessions (completed by phone or video call), you will answer questionnaires and smoke a cigarillo at home. During the second session, our Center will provide you with the cigarillos that you will smoke for the remainder of the study at no cost. We will ask you to collect your used cigarillo “tips/ends” in bags provided by the Center between your second session and your last session. You will be asked to bring the tip/end collection bags with you to a brief study cigarillo pick up visit and your last in-person visit.
 
The entire study will take approximately 3 weeks for you to complete. You will be asked to attend 6 sessions every 3-5 days. Most sessions will be about 1.5 hours long. This is not a quit smoking study. Participants will be compensated for their time and effort for each session they complete.
