Brief description of study
The purpose of this study is to assess repeatability of a magnetic resonance spectroscopy (MRS) technique used to measure NAD+ in the brain and skeletal muscles of different aged individuals. Investigators seek to establish the technique as reliable, when repeated, in each individual.
Detailed description of study
The study consists of two 7-T MRS scans of the brain and calf muscle. The second one will be between three days and three weeks from the first one. Each scan will take approximately 90-120 minutes to complete.
