Brief description of study

Study purpose: to evaluate the safety and efficacy of the MOTIV scaffold for the treatment of infrapopliteal lesions in patients with critical limb ischemia (CLI) by randomized comparison with standard balloon angioplasty. Target population: patients presenting with Rutherford category 4 or 5 CLI due to infrapopliteal artery disease suitable for endovascular intervention. Eligibility: patient must meet all eligibility criteria after obtaining informed consent and prior to the index procedure.
