The Effect of Computerized Cognitive Behavioral Therapy on Emotional Circuitry in Major Depression: A Pilot Study

Brief description of study

This is a pilot study evaluating Computerized Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CCBT) and its impact on emotional circuitry as measured by functional magnetic imaging (fMRI) scans. Ten subjects between 18 and 60 years of age with a diagnosis of major depression will participate in CCBT treatment over 12 weeks and will have a fMRI scanning prior to beginning CCBT training and after training is completed. fMRI data will determine changes in task-induced brain activation and functional connectivity.
