Asimadoline in Adult Subjects with Pruritus Associated with Atopic Dermatitis or Eczema

Brief description of study

This is a Phase 2, multicenter placebo controlled study evaluating the safety, PK, and preliminary efficacy of asimadoline in subjects with pruritus associated with AD. The purpose of this clinical research study is to find out if the drug asimadoline is safe and has beneficial (helpful) effects in relieving the symptoms of itching associated with atopic dermatitis.

Detailed description of study

The study includes a Screening period, during which your eligibility for the study will be evaluated, 3 study periods during which you will undergo procedures and take the study drug, and 2 post-treatment visits. Your participation in the study will last up to 12 weeks and will involve up to 11 clinic/office visits. You will receive treatment with the study drug for up to 9 of these weeks.
